From the time J.R. was very young, he has pursued his passion for creating art that capures the stunning details of life and nature. Currently residing in Colorado, he finds inspiration from the people and wildlife that surround him. With his recent works, J.R. attempts to bring awareness to the importance of wildlife conservation and cultural preservation.
Zero Skateboards
~Hess Nature Series~
Introducing a new collaboration with Zero Skateboards and the art of J.R. Hess. This series includes four different wildlife skateboards, available through www.zeroskateboards.com and two signature boards (30 ea.) available here in my online store. Each of these signature boards will be hand signed by the artist.
With wildlife conservation and awareness being an important factor in the inspiration of J.R.’s work, Zero Skateboards will donate a portion of all proceeds to J.R’s local nonprofit of choice, The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program. The RMRP is an organization that helps protect and rehabilitate raptors within the Rocky Mountain region.
